Hi there! I'm Cheyenne Rupert.

Hello! I'm the girl who's always wearing ripped jeans and a smile. My name is Cheyenne, and I am a professional photographer. I'm 29 years old and I'm trying my best to live life to the fullest whenever I'm not multitasking 10 things at once, haha. I currently live in Blair County, PA.

I whole heartedly believe in working hard for what you want, learning the importance of perseverance and independence. I am the proud momma of 3 beautiful kitties, and an avid contributor to animal rescues throughout PA. I'm currently a 3rd shift machine operator(excuse my 2AM replies to messages).

I was an avid art student throughout high school, and it was my senior year that I became interested in photography. I then pursued my passion in college, attending the Antonelli Institute of Art & Graphic Design in Philadelphia. In the middle of college, I decided to join the National Guard as a Logistics Specialist, an 8 year commitment. I attended BCT in 2015, graduated college in the spring of 2016, and completed AIT after summer. I graduated Antonelli with an Associate's Degree in Specialized Technology. I learned everything from camera basics to working beside full-time professionals. I prefer shooting portraits and using natural light, but I never turn down the opportunity to shoot outside of my typical realm!

I believe this was the perfect field for me because I have many photographs that I hold dear and memorable times that can never be reproduced. But with that, I also recall moments that I have nothing to show for. So I want to give others something to have and to cherish. We can't remember everything, we're human, but photos are the only things that can take us back while we continue to move forward.

FAQ

What do you prefer to shoot?

It's difficult to narrow it down because shooting a little bit of everything offers a motley of different perspectives.
I enjoy shooting intimate weddings because I'm such a sucker for love. I can't think of a wedding where I didn't tear up at the dances! But we can't forget all the candid shots and details that contribute to the beauty of the whole day. And I basically adopt a whole other family, what a win!
A close second would be senior sessions and/or boudoir. Senior sessions will always be different from the last because of how unique these kids are; And I enjoy meeting so many wonderful, young adults preparing for the next chapter of their life. Boudior is the chef's kiss when it comes to an empowering shoot. I adore seeing faces of surprise when they see their images, I love that I can show how beautiful you truly are!

What's your turnaround time?

I have to add a bit more time in regards to delivering photos because of working at my primary job.
Weddings are usually an 8 week turnaround, depending where we're at in wedding season.
Other sessions, expect about a 2 week turnaround.

Are you in business or is photography a super fun hobby for you?

Oh my, well, a little of both! So I do have my degree in this field, so of course I'd love to pursue this a full-time job down the road....but for right now, I just aim to make sessions very affordable and fun for everyone. As for a hobby, I usually take on any opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and photograph new things.
